Course 1: 5-Day or 3-Day CSI & Forensic Investigation plus Photography Training

Sirchie Academy begins with our core CSI & Forensic Investigation course that includes photography which will prepare students with “theory plus practical” exercises to work any crime scene. Whether you prefer our 40-hour week course or the condensed 3-day version, either option will provide a great foundation of knowledge for a thorough and comprehensive evidence collection mission.

Students with equivalent training or who have completed the first of the 4-course curriculum can move to the 40-hour Advanced Crime Scene Course or Blood Pattern Analysis (BPA). 

These courses include a student training kit.

Course 2: Bloodstain Pattern Class 

Our second Sirchie Academy course will sharpen your investigative skills when processing violent crime scenes. You will gain fundamental knowledge and practical application of bloodstain pattern analysis to enhance your casework. This course provides essential training to help you interpret critical evidence, though it is not intended to make students instant experts in this field.

Approved for 40 hours toward IAI Crime Scene & Bloodstain Pattern Analyst certification and recertification

Course 3: Advanced CSI & Forensic Investigation plus Photography 

Take the next step with our Advanced Crime Scene Investigation Course. This hands-on training builds on foundational skills, covering advanced photography, bloodstain pattern analysis, shooting incident reconstruction, death investigation, and fire scene investigation. Designed for forensic professionals, educators, attorneys, and students, this course provides the essential skills needed for complex casework.

Approved for Certification Training credit by the IAI

These courses include a student training kit.

Course 4: Crime Scene Reconstruction: Bloodstains, Ballistics & Forensic Analysis

Further enhance your expertise in our fourth Sirchie Academy course: Crime Scene Reconstruction. You will learn to apply a methodical, scientific approach to evidence examination, establishing causal links and reconstructing event sequences. With a focus on hypothesis development and critical assessment, this course ensures accurate and objective crime scene analysis.

Approved for 40 hours Crime Scene and 10 hours of BPA credit toward initial and recertifications
