Premier Helmets
Sirchie is dedicated to manufacturing high-quality Riot Duty Helmets. Our Premier brand riot helmets provide protection through four main components:
Helmet Outer Shell: The outer shell is the first defense against blunt trauma, penetration by sharp object, and harsh chemicals.
- Our TacElite™ EPR (Engineered Polymer Resin) outer shells found on our 900LT and 906 Series helmets provide high level impact protection and penetration of sharp objects that exceeds NIJ0104.02 requirements.
- Our TacElite™ TCM (Tactical Composite Matrix) outer shells found on our JCR100 series helmets feature a proprietary, lightweight fiberglass composite that provdes impact protection and penetration protection against sharp objects that exceeds NIJ0104.02 requiremnts.
Headliner: The core Sirchie's Premier Riot Helmets is the EPS foam liner. This foam liner is responsible for absorbing and reducing the energy of an impact. The foam liners of our hemlets are covered with a sweat-wicking, antifungal, and antimicrobial padded inner liner to provide maxiumum comfort and cleanliness.
Retention System: Sirchie fabricates our retention systems to exacting quality control standards using military specification tubular nylon webbing. Our fasteners are either stamped steel D-Rings or our Quick Release Buckle. When properly sized and secured, our Premier Riot Helmets will not come off your head until you want them to.
Face Shields: Our face shields are intended to protect the wearer from facial impacts and dangerous liquids. The 3.8 mm thick polycarbonate provides high-level impact protection and excellent optical properties. All our riot helmet face shields also feature a chemical resistant soft rubber liquid seal along the top edge to prevent dangerous liquids from running off the helmet shell into the wearer's eyes.
