Search and Rescue Response Training from Sirchie and SAR-1

When agencies conduct search and rescue operations, it's vital to locate missing individuals as quickly as possible and in the best possible condition. Our Search and Rescue Training gets your team ready to respond to the call by providing the proper equipment, as well as the knowledge to both plan and execute a successful Search and Rescue Mission in either urban or rural environments. Through Sirchie's partnership with SAR-1, we provide traditional classroom teaching with “boots on the ground” practical exercises that integrate the latest techniques, technology, and equipment.

The need for Search and Rescue operations can include the following scenarios:

  • Lost or overdue persons due to mental illness, dementia or drug abuse
  • Missing persons due to natural or man-made disasters
  • Lost Children
  • Missing campers, hikers and hunters

About SAR-1

SAR-1 is a collaborative company that combines traditional classroom instruction with in-field exercises to ensure your team is ready in the event that a search and rescue operation is necessary. SAR-1 instructors have decades of experience in the search and rescue field working with major police forces and are skilled in training both individuals and entire teams from volunteer organizations and police agencies.
