Production Operator I

General Summary 

  • Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures and work instructions perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test criminal investigation products. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum alertness and preparation
  • Communicate with other stations on the assembly to ensure maximum speed and accuracy
  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
  • Comply with all company safety rules and guidelines, and wear PPE if required.
  • This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.

Required Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
  • Ability to read and comprehend various measurements on scales and read instructions written in English
  • One (I) year experience working in manufacturing environment.
  • Must be dependable and work diligently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Frequently sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling and squatting
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to IO pounds, occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds.

 

 

Shipper Level I 

General Summary 

  • Shipper Level I is responsible for processing and expediting domestic shipments. This includes, but is not limited to, picking/packing orders, M/R, PO's, completing BOLs, and prioritizing shipments. This is a fast-paced position and requires a strong sense of responsibility, a positive "can-do" attitude, and a sincere dedication to getting the job done. This position involves a degree of interaction and cooperation with Domestic Shipping Team Leader (DSTL), marketing staff, warehouse staff, and management. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Prioritize and coordinate the packing and shipping of domestic orders.
  • Communicate with Fulfillment to properly prioritize orders for shipments.
  • Back-up and support the Domestic Shipping Team Leader (DSTL).
  • Organize and monitor the most efficient sequence of operations, workflow, and personnel to meet production expectations and goals.
  • Coach, counsel, and train employees.
  • Maintain safety standards and policies.
  • Identify and Support continuous improvement initiatives for quality, quantity of work and cost reductions.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/team leader.

Required Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in Shipping
  • Completion of Sirchie Dangerous Goods Training (within 2yrs. of hire )49CFR
  • Intermediate knowledge of Sage (MAS200)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Starship
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Completion of Sirchie Export Compliance Training
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate procedures and instructions when needed
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Self-driven, and motivated to work effectively
  • Ability to drive high standards in Quality, Efficiency, and Accuracy

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • 1 year of relevant work experience, or a combination of education and experience
  • This position is generally performed in a plant environment
  • This environment is generally climate controlled
  • The ability to stand, bend, stoop, crouch, or lift for 8 hours or more
  • The ability to lift up to 70lbs. daily

 

 

Material Handler I

General Summary 

  • Work in typical warehouse facilities to move products

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Locate and distribute materials from warehouse to other departments.

  • Unloading of deliveries.

  • Insure accurate warehouse inventory levels and report discrepancies immediately

  • Incoming Inspection of parts not on FAI (First Article Inspections)

  • Maintain clean and organized work environment.

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • Attention to detail

  • Understanding of basic math skills including fractions and decimals

  • Punctuality and attendance required.

  • Experience preferred in receiving and QC

  • Overtime/weekend hours may be necessary.

  • Ability to lift up to 110 lbs. (more than 50 lbs, seek assistance if necessary) Extremely physical.

  • One (1) year Forklift experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
