Basic HEPA Workstation
This Basic HEPA workstation is ideal for the containment of powders used in forensic analysis. The unit is fitted with a HEPA Filter for particulate and has an integral base for containment of spillage. The AC632H is fitted with an automatic sensor on the lower sash which automatically changes blower speed in relation to sash position. The AirSafe Auomatic Controller allows for easy operation while monitoring airflow and filter condition. The unit meets and exceeds all applicable OSHA and ANSI standards for ductless enclosures. The AC632H Workstation includes all necessary filters.
Typical applications include:
- Drug identification using solvents and ethers in extractions to determine drug purity
- Weighing of dangerous particulates
- Removal of dust fumes from fingerprint powders, cyanoacrylate, iodine, Ninhydrin and DFO
- Elimination of putrid odor from decaying evidence
