The KRIMESITE™IMAGER
|

PROVEN
TECHNOLOGY! OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
The KRIMESITE™
IMAGER is a Reflected
UltraViolet Imaging
System, also known as RUVIS,
to locate latent fingerprints that are invisible
to the naked eye, on most non-porous surfaces,
without the prior use of powders, chemicals
or vapor treatments of any kind. And,
unlike alternate light sources and lasers, the
KRIMESITE™
IMAGER is not
affected by ambient
light, which means it can be used in a broad
range of environments, including daylight or
total darkness, indoors or outdoors.

QUICK
AND EFFICIENT
This product has proven to be both a
non-destructive and non-corrosive method of discovering
valuable evidence at a crime scene or in a laboratory.
In addition, the victims of the crime will appreciate
the reduction of messy powders and/or chemicals in their
home, office or vehicle.
This also means less clean-up and
reduced crime scene contamination, as well as less
damage to property and evidence.

TIME
SAVER
The KRIMESITE™
IMAGER is simple to use and requires minimal
training to operate. This product is battery operated,
lightweight and portable, and can be setup and ready to
use in less than one minute, which makes it superb for
locating evidence in the field. Using the included
SIRCHPOD® Copy Stand (KSS9200) allows for easy and
steadfast evidence examination in the crime lab as well.

PHOTOGRAPH
EVIDENCE
The quick-connect camera
adapter (included) allows the KRIMESITE™ IMAGER to
be adapted to either a film, digital, or video camera
for real-time image capture for permanent records of
untreated fingerprints. This allows for quick
reproduction, enhancement and development of images, as
required. And, since untreated fingerprints can now be
documented prior to attempting to lift them off their
surface, the risk of accidentally destroying fragile
evidence before it has been safely documented is greatly
reduced. |
The
Steady Rest Attachment allows
the user to park the
Imager when not in use.

THE
KSS60 ADVANTAGE
From the redesigned lightweight body, fashioned from
a single piece of extruded aluminum, to the superior
60mm 4 element all quartz lens with dual filter slide
assembly—the KSS60 sets a new standard for crime scene
search capability. The 60mm UV lens is our very finest,
which requires no add-on lens adapters for close-up and
distance viewing. Because of this exceptional lens and
filter combination, close-up, distance viewing, and
photography can be accomplished without ever changing
the mechanical configuration of the device.

TAKING RUVIS TO
A NEW LEVEL
When the versatility of the KRIMESITE™
IMAGER is combined with the
uniquely designed Black Talon
Stabilizer, a total
"Crime Scene Search System" is the result.
There is little doubt that the KRIMESITE™
IMAGER is an extremely
valuable tool for locating untreated latent fingerprints
in broad daylight or total darkness. But adding the
BTS100 Black Talon creates a total, systematic approach
to evidence recovery. This innovative device provides
the basic platform for locating unprocessed evidence and
serves as a sturdy support when a camera is attached to
the Imager.
The Black Talon Stabilizer (patent
#7,050,715) was designed by our
engineering staff to meet the specific needs of certain
U.S. Government Agencies that required optimum
performance at the crime scene and in the laboratory. A
device was needed that contained its own UV light source
and that could easily be operated by one individual. It
also needed to facilitate close-up viewing and
photography from a fixed distance, so that resulting
photos would always be consistent in size. The same
device had to be lightweight and balanced so that it
could remain attached to the KRIMESITE™
IMAGER for efficient crime
scene searches.
